First trip to the dentist!

Stephen was such a big boy at the dentist today! He was so cooperative- even sat through x-rays without a complaint! I'm so proud of my big boy!

Unvalentines Day

    Not long after we started dating, Blue and I decided not to celebrate Valentines Day. Instead we celebrate the anniversary of our first date. This year marks 12 years from that fateful woodser date function. We have come a long way from drunken (other kids, not me mom) fraternity date functions!

   This year was extra special as we didnt really get to celebrate our wedding anniversary while we were in the hospital having William. Blues parents offered to babysit and we went to stay the night in St Augustine- our first over night trip together since Stephen was born! We had a fantastic time and are so thankful for our wonderful babysitters!

Happy Four Month Birthday, William!

Our little man is just bursting with personality these days! He is a little social butterfly- he just loves to coo, be tickled on his belly, and most of all watch his brother! Here is what is new and exciting this month:
-he is (for the most part) getting up only once per night now. A few times he has even slept through the night!
-he is cooing and giggling
-he will try to engage you and get you to smile at him....particularly when he is supposed to be falling asleep!
-he has discovered his hands...he loves to suck on his fingers and put toys in his mouth
-naps are still a struggle. He gets tired but prefers the "nurse to sleep" method over the "put self to sleep" method....we are trying to work on this.
-speaking of sleeping, he still prefers to be swaddled, but only in his miracle blanket (truly a miracle) and it has to be TIGHT or he wiggles out of it- and then cries.
-he prefers his bath water running at 6pm, sharp.  If not he will let you know your shortcomings.
 -he has rolled from belly to back a few times, although each time seems more accidental than purposeful as he seems surprised each time
-he is getting really good at tummy time and can prop himself up on elbows for several minutes and play. 
- he loves to be outside.
-he still dislikes his car seat, but it tolerating it better since we moved him to the middle seat, right next to Stephen.
-ahhh, Stephen. You can already see the adoration in Williams eyes when he looks at Stephen. Stephen does a great job playing with William and handing him toys in the car. He is a great big brother!
-Williams reflux is getting better and better...this month he has even tolerated mommy drinking a little coffee...I feel like a new woman!!!
-we moved him up to his own room this month!
-he is a sweet little boy who loves to cuddle!
